Anon2, the PROBLEM with that theory is that Ecchi-Enzo, or Ero-Enzo as he currently goes by, posts the censored versions on his own Tumblr account as well as his now-deleted deviantart account. So yeah, he's just a greedy bastard who wants people to pay even more money for his art, MUCH OF WHICH WAS ON COMMISSION, to see the uncensored version. I mentioned how expensive his prices were back when he went by Ecchi-Enzo, and got banned from posting for my troubles.

Its more of intentional censoring to charge ridiculous sums of money for uncensored versions.

It may be someone from japan got ahold of his stuff, and illegally posted it on their site (copyright infringement). To do so "legally" there they would have to apply a censor. Then someone gets the censored version and posts it up over here.

It would be like if xbooru was hosted in japan, you have to follow the laws for wherever your hosting company is. If xbooru was hosted in japan, then they'd have to go in and apply a censor to all the genitals per japanese censorship law.

I think xbooru may be hosted in a country that doesn't allow lolicon, because they delete and restrict that. Some countries are ok with it (eg: japan... i know, irony), but others don't like any underage stuff at all, even portrayed in art/cartoon.

So, it's just a culture-clash of laws on the internet.

Why does this guy censor his stuff? He doesn't live in Japan. He doesn't need to conform to their nonsensical pornography laws.
