Princess Melody is the protagonist of Disney's 2000 direct-to-video sequel The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea. She is the daughter of princess_ariel and prince_eric. To protect her from Ursula's sister, the sea witch Morgana, Melody's parents build a large sea wall around their castle and forbid her from knowing anything about her mermaid heritage or entering the ocean, but by her 12th birthday, she's been swimming there for years and dreams of living there.
She is voiced by Tara Strong.
