She has a bond with a Chao named Cheese, who follows her everywhere, and although she is the youngest of all the characters since she is currently 6 years old, she is not afraid to defend herself. In addition to Sonic and Tails who have a sisterhood-friendship, she also has one with Amy Rose and helps her as much as she can as long as it is without violence, since she is an original and true pacifist. Cream was raised as a princess, she apologizes before attacking and although she is young, at some point the future may be in her hands.
Cream is a small, anthropomorphic rabbit with cream-colored fur, cinnamon-brown eyes, a small brown nose, and a white muzzle. She has Princeton orange markings around her eyes, on her head, and on the tips of her ears. She also has a long eyelash over each eye and a short, fluffy tail that sticks out from her dress, though it is not always visible. For clothing, she wears a simple sleeveless vermilion dress with a white collar and a light blue tie, white gloves with a gold cufflink on each cuff, white socks, and vermilion and yellow slip-on shoes with gray soles. Her ears also have pink channels and are usually turned back and flopped behind her head.
Due to her mother's teachings on the importance of manners, Cream is a princess-like figure; she is very polite, elegant, and well-behaved. She is equally well-spoken (often referring to people as "Mr." and "Miss," followed by their name) and does as she is told. Her politeness being second nature to her, Cream puts her teachings into practice with a cheerful smile on her face and a soft voice. Regardless of the situation and being used to getting what she wants, Cream never forgets her manners, even showing respect and offering a polite bow to her enemies, such as Eggman, before attacking them with extreme prejudice.

Sweet-natured, Cream doesn't have a bad bone in her body. As such, she is honest, innocent, and has a generally happy attitude. She is equally very considerate, charitable, and friendly, always willing to lend a helping hand to her friends when the situation calls for it and tries to be close to everyone she meets. For this reason, she is loved by everyone. Cream is also extraordinarily brave, bold, and noble for someone her age, and is not afraid to face danger for the sake of those she cares about. She is also full of curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. She is also not afraid to express her anger and displeasure, but never does so in a rude manner.
An energetic go-getter, Cream is a hard worker and always does her best in everything she does. Due to her curiosity, Cream loves fun and adventures and is always eager to bravely throw herself into the next one. However, she can also be somewhat reckless, as she is known to throw herself into adventures without really considering the dangers she may end up facing on her own, thus leaving her in situations beyond her capabilities. However, due to her age and upbringing, she is sometimes a bit naive and simple-minded. As such, she doesn't always see things right away and may accidentally talk about others' flaws or get herself into trouble when she gets caught up in other people's problems. Despite this, she has a very grounded personality that helps her be the biggest restraint for her team. She can also be sensitive and childish, being prone to starting to cry over the smallest of things, misfortunes, or general sadness. She also tends to scoff and pout childishly when people treat her like a little kid, especially when it's because she can't go on an adventure.

Cream enjoys the simpler things in life and loves to spend most of her time outdoors playing with her friends or picking flowers. Indoors, she enjoys watching television.

Cream loves being happy and seeing others the same way, and hates seeing others sad. As such, she is a pacifist and detests violence. Even when defeated by Chaos Gamma, Cream refused to fight back. However, she is willing to fight, but only to protect her friends if their safety is threatened, and there is no telling what she would do in such cases. That being said, she would rather spend her time picking flowers and eating ice cream.
