Gatomon is a female. Watch the show. In any case, you can just take the claws off, they're only gloves. The feet, you cant, but, that can be worked around.

since the breast bone is sunken it's a female feline of a younger aged anthropomorph artistry. Also, all the digimon species except Guilmon (specially created by his tamer) are all proper sexually oriented creatures (for reference please watch the first generation early seasons when Agumon show's many many agumon(plural) in a nursery of digimon.

further-more since there is gender among the hero digimon we know and love then it stands that there's also genders among their breeds/species in the digiworld stated above. You can't say that the Agumon species are all male or all digimon are genderless since there's Angewoman(gatamon) and angemon(palmon)
