I already answered this question several times. Our bans work based on IPs, if he has a dynamic IP or uses a proxy I can't pre-hand know his new IP.

And as i said you not enforcing that rule makes uploads with the less desired number of tags your problem.
Quantity over quality, no tag rule being enforced so hey just upload anything & not bother to tag it.
I mean who cares right.

Massive uploads from everyone, no tags required.

That rule is there for a reason.
To slow the massive uploads uploads from members to lazy or that just don't know what tags to use.
To put some kind of order to boatload of images this sit gets, so you & everyone else don't have to surf through a mountain of crap before they get to the images & category they're looking for.

Nobody likes or wanting to sift everyone's uploads when that person should've done it right from day1 of the upload.

It's less work for members scrolling through images & reduces the need for complaining on the subject when the rule is enforced from day1.

And really, even if you are uploading a fuckton of images at a time... is it really going to take that much more time out of your life to just open up the pics you're putting on the site and scan them for just five distinctive details (even if it's just little things, like gender or hair colour)?

But i think it's the numbers alot of people want.
Just stinking up a picture is very easy, like posting links on forums.
Why post the full information when you can post a link.

What people don't understand is that clear descriptions of the content helps the search engine find what people are looking for alot easier & faster by narrowing down the search.
It's kinda difficult finding a category when over half the uploads are labeled TAG ME.

It's understandable when the person uploading doesn't know what to label something.
SimPictures & others that does this may not understand english or the tagging system or whatever. Can't fault them because they are adding new content.
However we can fault the administrators for asking for more.

How many uploads are labeled TAG ME ? How many new uploads are labeled TAG ME ?

There's a big uncategorised mess, & it's growing because they don't enforce the tag rule to slow it down.

It's difficult for members to tag & categorise others uploads when more uploads in need of labels keep piling on.

Haha, yeah... exactly. The tagging system was actually part of what attracted me to the *booru system to begin with.

So much easier to find things this way than flipping through a bunch of threads on *chan in an attempt at finding the individual pics you want.

So sad to see it go to waste by these guys that just upload a bunch of things willy-nilly with only 'tagme' and maybe one or two extra tags; instead of takin the time to just tag things properly.

Let's completely ignore the fact that non-tagged content is in no way affecting your ability to search through tagged content. A single input into the search bar eliminates your entire complaint. A SINGLE WORD.

That and the fact that a lot of images recently got a lot of tags so it's not even much of an issue anymore.

Non-tagged content does not interfere with tagged content even one bit. And more content is just good for the website.
