Xbooru - trolls are out of control

Which would you rather have, more visitors or more members?
I don't see how giving a little incentive to join Xbooru would hurt it.
Besides as i said having it where only members that can add comments wouldn't stop people from visiting & viewing Xbooru.
All it would do is motivate people a little to join Xbooru if they wanna make comments.
As it was said Xbooru doesn't have many members, so why not get them in the door instead of looking through the window making comments.

At this point of time, the difference between "visitors and "members" is non existent. And that's simply because Members are also visitors. You can not make that comparisons.

Anons are staying. How many times do I need to say it so that you all finally understand that ANONS ARE STAYING?

Also, to some people that only view images, making an account and logging into said account is a hassle, because they won't use the things that a registered account provides them with.

@rie - I listed sites that we own and host, I can't speak for danbooru as we are not involved in that website.

You know the one that is trying to bring back the B.S Chain letters that people spammed everywhere.

That's what i said there is little to no differences between them, maybe there should be. And maybe that's what's keeping Xbooru from increasing in members.
Why join when you already have access to nearly everything.
Are you motivated to get new members for Xbooru or just motivated to keep Xbooru up & running.
It's all traffic traffic traffic, that's fine but Xbooru should have people wanting to join & not just look.

The thing is, that you DO NOT get anything special for being a member. It's a choice thing. Why limit something when limiting something loses people? The more choice people have, the more people we get.

Also, Xbooru has a lot of visitors, more then the previous completely un-moderated Xbooru had.

lol Why have any members at all then.
Why limit visitors at all, just give everyone 100% access like they're all members & let them do their thing.

Do anonymous users have the ability to upload images without being members ?
How many members does Xbooru have compared to visitors?
Which contributes more content to Xbooru, members or visitors ?
Does Xbooru need members at all or just visitors?
Is the same for the other Boorus you & slayer run, more visitors then members ?

Why do you differentiate visitors from members. Members do VISIT the site as well. Thus, members are also visitors. Anons are also visitors.

Because members are the ones taking the time to bring & upload image content to Xbooru.
They login they sign out under an identifying user name for that individual user.
They tag & help tag each image on Xbooru.

Visitors *anonymous* : CAN view each image, can't sign in, can't upload images to Xbooru, can't tag *shouldn't be allowed to tag* any image content on Xbooru.
Are allowed to make comments under anonymous which does not identify one user from the next giving freedom to Troll websites as they please.

Your saying there's no definition between to the two & visitors *anonymous* has the same abilities as members then i ask you, why have members at all?

I'm not saying that anonymous and members are the same. I just said that both anons and members are visitors. Differentiating yourself from visitors as a member is not correct because a member is essentially a visitors as well.

Also, remember when I said it's a choice thing? If u want to be Anon - go ahead. If you want to be a member - go ahead.

How can I explain it to you all that Xbooru will continue to have both members and Anonymous users with the same priviliges both groups have now?

You might as well stop trying to reason with them,they've shot down every single idea we've given them.And for some reason alaron can't stand me,threatening to ban me for simply putting my input,it's whatever though I could care less,but if you want a site with less trolls and admins that are on more and do more,just make you're own booru and run it yourself,win win.
