She debuted in Tekken Tag Tournament 1 as the game's final boss, possessed by a wolf demon and using mimicry as her fighting style. Having no partner, her health constantly regenerates slowly. The "Unknown" moniker gave her a nice mysterious aura, and clearly stuck with Tekken fans, as she maintains that name for Tag 2. As for what she's covered in, other than it being a purple goo that covers her otherwise naked body, it's unclear. Her stage floor is coated in the stuff in Tag 2, and she can utilize it in certain attacks now, as well.

So the water in Unknown's stage in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was actually ooze?! When I think of that liquid that's dripping from Unknown, I heard this infamous quote from the Power Rangers movie, "Oh, the things that I have missed, the Black Plague! The Spanish Inquisition! The Brady Bunch reunion."
