I really like the artists re-interpretation it beautifully plays off the difference between humans and elephantians and how our understanding in pitying them is really just an arrogant selfcentered view of what we believe to make people happy. the bright yellow we can see here on the elephant trunk is, if you have noticed, almost the same as on the mans hair and clothes, a clear statement on how we are not as different as we may think. the pink colored round end of the trunk is quite interesting i personally believe the artist here is trying to tell us that deep inside we all have a soft happy center like cotton candy.
this is really an amazing and insightfull piece of art i hope to see many more like it in the future, all though this in of itself may never know an equal. keep up the good work and thank you! :D
