I can imagine a violent pokemon world where weak children will be killed and eaten by wild pokemon and only the strongest trainers can survive to defeat and collect all monsters in the world. Ash whole young life was spent training for the day he will go out and become a pokemon master or die trying. When he started his quest he fought tooth and nail with his pokemon Pikachu just to conquer the Kanto region. In his adventure he met Brock who later become his right hand man and Misty that later become his lover. In this cruel world where everyday is a survival the only luxury they have is when they reached a town for clean bed, warm meal, sex sessions without worrying about getting ambushed by wild pokemon and deep sleep.
