you guys are failing at maintaining this site,the forum is clogged with a bunch of spam from low-lfe trolls,if the job of keeping this site up to do date and spam,troll,re-post etc. free on a daily basis is too hard,why not appoint some moderators,me or davehytmen would be the most logical choices.
While one of us isn't on the other might be,making sure everything is in order.

What is the point of running a website or Booru, if you aren't going to be on the website/booru; I don't understand the mentality of either Mods by this point. I know this is a User Generated Booru, as they've stated; but there are Mods for a reason.

Then when they do get on here, they ask us to send them everyone who screwing around; instead of looking for the clear and obvious.

Forgive me, Alaron & Slayerduck; are you the Mods or are we the Mods for you? I feel like you are literally the high end boss that does absolutely nothing, unless us the secretary tells you about it or points it out to you. That isn't how a website/Booru works, you do realize this?

Now as I've stated if you gave Me or oGtRaMmAsTeR420 the ability to Mod, we'd clean this place out in lesser time then it takes either one of you to get on. We're regulars here for a reason, we like the Booru; more then other Boorus because it is more friendly to use. Shocking part is, well the other Boorus are complicated; the Mods actually pay attention. Here, it's friendly and it's madness; you need to actually pay attention or hand over the keys to both of us.

Seriously tough stop fucking crying, the spam only been there 2 days and Alaron is on vacation right now. The main purpose of the booru is still the ACTUAL BOORU and not the forum. And the booru itself has been running fine.

You being the other Slayerduck, though I remember you only own Xbooru; you don't have any power or say who does what.

Is like the Corporate Higher Ups (Slayerduck), to the regular High End boss (Alaron); that us the secretaries Me & oGtRaMmAsTeR420 point everything out to. Has now admitted that the Higher end boss that didn't do anything in the first place, is now on vacation; so with the lack of times either one of you "Moderators/Admins" got on here in the first place is basically tripled.

So why aren't I & oGtRaMmAsTeR420 Moderators yet? At least we actually seem to give a damn, don't make stupid comments to users of the forum that don't deserve it and would clean up this Booru faster then either one of you gets on; The point of a Booru is to run the entire Booru which neither one of you do anyways. I had to point out Gayboy, Racistpig again, Cunt23 and several other users that actually still have accounts here (Dirtyfeet, Futurepedo, ect, ect, ect).

Yeah cuz there is no point in banning/deleting an account since a new account can be made with one click and 3 lines of text. So we just ban IPs.

If you want mod, go ask Alaron. Hes the Baus here.

It's extremely easy to run to the data center to fix server, put in new ram or do ANYTHING at all to the server.

It's also very easy to run websites like rule34.xxx, booru.org, TBIB.org, safebooru.org, xbooru.com and several others (which Slayerduck owns and I moderate), it's also really easy to handle DMCAs from artists that come in at random intervals.

It's neither as simple nor easy as you all seem to think.

People have been crying about errors...Slayerduck has been fixing the search engine last week because it was making the website crash over and over again and you guys barely even notice the changes he makes. Everyone just cries and cries and then cries some more.

If you see a bug that we haven't noticed then report it, because as you have noted yourselves numerous times - we're only 2 people taking care of plenty of things.

First - I'm on vacation and still try to get on from time to time, second - I was sick (DURING VACATION MIND YOU) to the point where I couldn't get off bed for 2 days. So get off my case and stop god damn crying.

P.S. I can't ban users, if you all continue this I'll just start banning IPs, because it crossed the line a very long time ago.

These guys were acting liked they owned the site for the pas week and a half. Now they can finally shut up about becoming an admin... Or what is most likely going to happen, Cry about how this site is going downhill and it will stay that way unless they become an admin.

you sound like a broken record,how have I or davehytmen been crying? we've been trying to help this site for a long time now and are both regulars,so why not make us mods? we're both on more often then you or slayerduck,and all it would do would benefit this site,so why are you afraid of making the site better? I think I've proved I'm more than capable,trust me just 2 people running the site is NOT enough,but if you want to continue to be stubborn when someone who has helped the site many time before offers there help,so be it.


I don't know why you're so hesitant about having some extra assistance,when nothing bad could come from it,I really don't understand you're logic anymore,me and davehytmen offer are insight and opinions,and you say we're bitching,what sense does that make? Not very mature for the admin of the site if you ask me.

All right. A few things to address. (Hopefully in a more calm manner).

First and foremost: There's constantly the mention of bugs and errors on the website. Question one: What are these errors, show them to me, let me and Slayerduck see them. Question two: What do you think you can do with errors as a Moderator?

Second: The reason why we're not just randomly handing out bans to people is because people tend to get greedy when they get power. You're gonna get moderator, then what? What exactly will you do, put down a list of things, SPECIFIC THINGS, and we'll continue from there.

Let's assume you and dave get mod rights. What comes out of it? The request for more rights (admin rights), what comes after that? The blatant abuse of said rights because of certain people you dislike.

Do you know why I am a mod? (admin/mod/guy that helps slayerduck/ w/e u wanna call it) ...? Do you know? Because I know Slayerduck, because he knows me. We know neither of you, I can't give you the power to run ("run" is an exaggeration) the website and risk losing users because let's face it, dave and you have haters within the community.

I can play the "boss card" and lock all these topics, ban you all and just dig in the entire issues. You know WHY I am not doing it? Because I care.

I shouldn't even be explaining myself to all of you but I'm doing it out of decency.

Let's leave it at that and the question I put above: if I do give the two of you Moderator rights what will you do with them. A list with accurate and specific points. We'll continue this conversation from there.

Quick edit: To the aforementioned list add a list of the bugs that you are all mentioning. Again, detailed and clearly outlined.
