For those of you that don't know what that means, it basically says the reported images from those places must be removed. It's a legal thing and it can't be avoided. They own their works, and if they don't want them somewhere, they can have them removed. So before anyone complains that I am deleting images, please keep that in mind.

I'm not pointing any fingers here, but allow me to point my finger at MISTER JizzedinMyPants. Why? Well I now have to delete 20 pages worth of Naruto/BleachPixx from his page to start! Srsly did you upload their whole site? D: No wonder they got mad.

As for you mister JizzedinMyPants or anyone curious reading this... No, I am not angry at you. I'm just frustrated that I need to do this at the current moment. I wont hold it against you that you uploaded all of these before we recieved the DMCA, but I will get angry if you upload more :D You aren't getting banned or anything, Legally I just need to remove these images.

So, because of all this I might start a small DNP (do not post) list to help me out. Some of you may already know how these work, but basically it's a list of sources/artists which you aren't allowed to post. Having it shown public is usefull for -ME- because it will allow more active users to notice signatures from people which aren't allowed to be on the site by request only, so they can report it to me without me having to dig through the mountain of images to find things.

No one tends to like DNP lists, I know. But at times it is really the only choice. It's the same either way. I can make the list and keep everyone happy, or not do it and be told to manually remove things anyway...

This is a little tl;dr, I know. I'll write a better DNP post later and see what I can do about getting it easier to use.

No, as far as I understand & know these are cases of copyright violation. It's their work, so they have all rights to demand that it's not shown anywhere except their own (pay)sites.
If you create a NEW image that resembles their work (similar pose, same character) but does not share a pixel with theirs (not the outlines = "tracing and recoloring" is too near, and not the colors = just removing the outlines and keeping everything else is also too near) then you are the new owner of the image and can post it wherever you please.

palcomix has thier non vip stuff marked for free distribution. why are you banning thier pics?
