Members when creating artists

What are Memebers suppose to mean when creating artists? is it suppose to be something if they work for a bigger organization, like Whentai or Hentai Unlimited. What about if they get their money from Patreon? i'm pretty confused on this and pressing the help button is broken as it does absolutely nothing for me.

Also, whenever I save an Alias, it disappears. for instance, I made the artist thing for Janong. I saved his Aliases as Janong49 (his HF account) and Janong054 (his DA account) and then when I hit save, they disappear
