since alot of anons are jackasses that seem to take pleasure in complaining about whatever, it might be better to complain about them on this topic instead of on the comments where you can get warnings from one of the admins (please do not complain about stuff that got deleted that you know shouldn't be on here like stuff that is not porn/sexual or a loli/shota pic being deleted)

I'm starting to get annoyed at the specific pool of people who are down voting comments for no reason. I search through the comments on the tab because one it can be interesting to see what people are saying and two maybe I can find new fap material or artist I can get into. For the most part I see images that appear to have fuck all said about them only to click in them, see they have like 13 comments and half have like -11 votes for no reason. I see NO point in this and it's annoying for someone like me who's a versatile searcher.

There's also the fact that people are starting shit for no reason with other peolpe but that's self explanatory

Some pictures and comments have been downvoting for last three week and it bug me the fuck out. I dont know why cause they probably hate picture or tagged and shit. There gotta be a reason.

Admins have already said that negative votes carry no meaning here, and they do not screen content based on votes. With that being said, why don't the admins remove negative votes altogether? Let the lack of popularity be reflected by a lack of votes. Personally, I think it would be hilarious to make down votes count as two upvotes just to mess with the script kiddies. It would certainly end the downvote war, and make votes mean something again.

We cannot change the site software, there is copyright that says we cannot alter the code in any way, don't you think we would fix it if we could?

Besides the voting is fine for the majority of images, it is in the scheme of things only a tiny minority that gets vote spammed.

If people just up vote what has been unjustly down voted instead of complaining which solves nothing, there would be no problem :)

Also the more you talk about the problem, the more the spammer gets off on it, so you become part of the problem.. why does so few people get this?



We are also clearly not ignoring the problem either and those that think so are just defeatists who like to point at problems and then leave, good riddance!

We have stepped up our efforts on the site so it's obvious we are not ignoring the problem, but we cannot do it alone we need the community to help report and upvote.
